Our Talent

Maxwell's path to becoming a professional actor went through classical training programs, but also through the biology laboratory and science and math classrooms. He put down his lab coat and went on stage, but he never lost his love of the natural world or of life-long learning; he brings both passion and expertise to scientific and medical nonfiction. But he believes that while science is how you learn about the natural world, art is how you learn about the human experience -- he excels at disappearing inside complex characters and bringing them to life, especially flawed characters who really want to do the right thing, but who don't know how to do it. These skills really pay off in sci fi, be it hard sci fi that leans on the technical, or the dark corners of cyberpunk, post-apocalyptic, or horror/scifi where good choices are few and far between.
