Bio

I’m a classically trained actor with experience on stage, screen, and in podcasts. I earned a Masters in Acting from the Royal Birmingham Conservatoire in the UK and performed in professional theaters around Birmingham. Originally from Portland, OR, I spent many years acting in Los Angeles and training with the Groundlings improv theater. Most recently, I wrote and produced a short film called Dog Daze.
In addition to acting, I have a degree in English and a secondary career as an early literacy interventionist with an educational non-profit, where I help young readers reach grade level proficiency. I’ve also worked as a private tutor specializing in history, English literature, and writing.
I enjoy reading across many genres and have given voice to young ingenues and heroines, slightly unhinged villains, uptight British ladies, and a few ditzy characters. Thanks to formal vocal training, a natural ear, and time spent abroad, I’m great with accents, especially British RP, Southern Irish, Southern American, and French. I have a soft spot for comedy, literary fiction, history, romance, mysteries, children’s literature, and particularly love stories that are strange and unexpected.
