Name | Sam Bradley |
Location | Leeds, United Kingdom |
Bio | I got my PhD in Palaeoclimate Science from the University of Cardiff in 2014. Since then, I've worked in the public sector and moonlighted as a voiceover artist. ...Yes that does make me Dr Sam Bradley, but I try not to use that title unless it's necessary. I have worked for BBC Radio 4 on the radio comedy "Married" by Tony Bagley, and "The Rotters' Club" by Jonathan Coe, adapted by Simon Littlefield. Most recently I narrated the audiobook for The Torpometronomicon by Gary Clemenceau for Audible, for which my narration has received excellent reviews! I love telling stories, I love playing around with characters, and I love presenting factual information in an engaging way. Non-fiction needs as much narration as fiction does and everyone connects with a well-told story regardless if it is science-fact or science-fiction. With my background in science I can bring a unique understanding and authoritative voice to pop-science audiobooks. I am excellent at delivering complex information in a clear and engaging way. I also like to think that I'm uniquely suited to mad-scientist villains, pompous wizards, plucky nerds, and any character with a penchant for sesquipedalian loquaciousness and delusions of grandeur! |
