Narrating since 2208 in my home studio near San Francisco, Ann specializes in spiritual, self-help, memoirs, and literary fiction. Raised on a farm in Nebraska, she has a more-than-basic familiarity and knowledge of agriculture, wildlife conservation, Lutheran potlucks, and livestock husbandry. In 4-H she was a champion sheep showman, and an average horse showman. She paused her studies in broadcast journalism at the Univ. of Nebraska, Lincoln to move to northern California to start a new, married life and then worked in the pharmaceutical industry, the public school system, and finally 4 years in sales for aftermarket automotive sales, before pursuing audiobook narration. As of 2024, Ann has narrated more than 350 audiobooks, won 5 Earphones awards from AudioFile Magazine, and has been a finalist in the SOVAS awards numerous times. She is a member of the Audio Publisher's Association, Professional Audiobook Narrators Association, and SAG-AFTRA.
