Our Talent

Nicholas is a classically trained actor who's worked on stage, TV, feature films, voice-over and video games. He has been narrating audio-books since 2010, and, as an avid reader, still can't quite believe it's now his job, too.

He loves getting under the skin of meaty, complicated characters (sometimes getting so transported into their world, their minds, that he has found himself weeping, having to temporarily leave his booth for fear of salt-water based electrocution). He's equally at home narrating non-fiction, finding it an astonishingly good way to learn about things he otherwise might never have considered - be it quantum physics or why yew trees are often found in cemeteries.

Nicholas is an unabashed lover of all things science fiction. Early in his career (a sci-fi podcast), after narrating a short story by Peter Watts, one of his all time favourite authors, Peter sent him a completely unexpected email saying how he now couldn't read that story without hearing Nicholas' voice in his head. To this day, this still gives Nicholas the shivers.
