Our Talent

I am American-born, but my parents are from Hong Kong, so I grew up with Cantonese in the home. I am a certified French translator by training and am fluent in French, having lived in France and Switzerland. I also have a minor in mathematics and am married to a university math professor (in fact, we met teaching math to kids at a summer camp!). I have a black belt in kung fu and play piano and violin (at 16, I performed in Carnegie Hall with my high school orchestra). I absolutely devour books (in French and English), averaging ~85 books a year over the past 5 years. Last night I finished Whit by Scottish author Iain Banks. I have Tourette's syndrome, but most people don't notice.
