Hi! I'm Doug West, a New Jersey based Theatre Artist and Audiobook Narrator with a passion for Classical Theatre, Artist Training, and a mild obsession with my cats. I'm conveniently located in Central New Jersey (yes, it really exists) with easy access to both NYC and Philadelphia. I have an undergraduate degree from Montclair State University, and an MFA from The University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign. I've just finished a 10-year stint as the Associate Director of Education at The Shakespeare Theatre of New Jersey, where I've been a company member for more than 20 years. I have also been a proud member of Actor's Equity since 2004.

With an extensive background in Classical Theatre and Vocal Training, and more than 20-years of professional experience as an actor, director, and teaching artist, I bring character, clarity, and intentionality to everything I record.
