Bio

Amanda is All-American Southern girl from East Tennessee. She grew up as a tennis playing, football loving, musical theater/show choir girl. She is a sports fan and loves watching football, baseball, and basketball (Go Vols!) She was the girl that excelled at school, but had the soul of a performer and was involved in musical theater, and show choir. Amanda then attended the University of Tennessee in Knoxville, and then moved to Nashville after graduating in Political Science and Broadcasting. She worked in the non-profit sector for the American Heart Association before becoming a narrator. As the Youth Market Director for the state, she worked with schools on childhood obesity, nutrition, and physical activity. She is married and a proud mom to boy and girl twins, after suffering for several years of infertility.

I have recorded close to 150 books (give or take a chapter) and am in this industry by way of being completely obsessed with reading and equally obsessed with audiobooks, while ALSO having a flair and passion of performance. (theater kid!) I have a natural Southern accent, but can also take you from Savvy Socialite to California Girl to Southern Belle faster than you can say “Bless Your Heart”. I can do a variety of accents for secondary characters like British, French, Spanish, Australian, etc. I am a reader first, narrator second. I adore books, and am a big believer of books coming into your life when they are supposed to; making you a deep thinker, and hopefully a better person. And I have the honor of being a part of that. My voice is charismatic, genuine and infectious. I love big, and am the girl you can bare your soul to, but will also laugh myself silly if you trip and fall in my presence.
