Rewind. I’m 7 years old and talking in to a tape recorder, making up stories with narration and full blown character voices. After every story, I end with, “Good bye, now!” It is my sanctuary from life in a small apartment with six sisters. Yes, six sisters.

Fast forward. After 3 years attending Herbert Berghof Studios, I am a professional actor, singer and storyteller, sharing stories that move me to express my humanity. With 5 PARENTS CHOICE award winning recordings under my belt, I have performed all over the country from the Kravitz Center to the Tastes of Chicago to Carnegie Hall. I have also become the go to Abraham Lincoln for the Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. Jimmy loves Abe!

My vast experience and soul connection with young audiences makes Juvenile fiction a great match for my voice, which has been described as expressive and warm with a “graceful balance of humor and heart.” That quote came from the LA Times, who reviewed my CD, “When I Was a Kid”, a collection of original songs and stories from my childhood.

I am also proud to say that my grandfather, Luigi Del Bianco, was the chief carver on Mount Rushmore. Problem was, history left my grandpa in the dust, so I wrote a book and then recorded an audio book entitled, "Out of Rushmore’s Shadow". The result? Luigi got his own plaque at Rushmore and the historical record was changed for the better. My love of history, particularly books about unsung heroes like my grandpa, underscore my great passion for narrating historical fiction, non-fiction, memoirs or any story that sheds light on those who history has forgotten or cast aside. You see, I not only love narrating stories of historical figures, I've lived it. It is a part of who I am.

When it comes to character voices, I’ve got a ton of them. Action/Thriller watch out! I can really see myself crushing this genre. On the other side of the spectrum, I LOVE modern Fiction Authors like Jodi Picoult and Catherine Ryan Hyde are always in my reading list. The heavy female influence in my life (remember my six sisters?) has gifted me with a unique perspective as a male narrator bringing female characters to life.

Currently, I am narrating for Potomac Talking Books and Deyan Audio has just added me to their casting roster.

I love telling stories. I’ve been doing it for 37 years for all ages. It has been a great joy in my life, rewinding all the way back to that shy little boy discovering his “voice”. I’ve traded in my childhood tape recorder for a Shure SM7B and an IMAC. I am raring to go. And that’s my story. Good-bye, now!
