Pearl Hewitt is a British narrator from northeast England who now lives in Houston, Texas. Over the years she's been a customer service rep, teaching assistant, and elementary school teacher but deep down there was always a performer wanting to break out. In 2007 she discovered the world of voice-overs which led to a passion for long form narration while volunteering for the twice-weekly mystery/suspense hour for Houston Sight-Into-Sound Radio and for which she earned multiple awards due to her knack for character voices and an array of regional accents. Pearl's confident voice and experience as a teacher lends itself very well to nonfiction texts but her engaging storytelling skills shine in many genres of fiction, particularly British Regency romance, cozy mysteries, thrillers and fantasy. Her personal favorites are the classics and especially children's literature.
