Since 2017, Katie has worked with many companies, mostly in commercial Voice Over. Since 2021 however, audiobooks have held her heart. More accurately, they'd held her heart captive, nearly against its will, her love for performing growing and shifting. Most recently, she completed a tenure with an Indian production company called Pocket FM where, through the 7 'shows' they hired her for, she narrated roughly 650 hours of audiobook scripts. Katie was born and raised in London, KY, and lives in her late grandmother's home with her husband and eight (yes, 8) cats; all of which are rescues. (Yes; 8 is a lot. And yes, they do single handedly keep lint rollers and cat litter in business. But they wouldn't have it any other way. 🥰) Before Katie got into voice over, she studied music performance with an emphasis on vocals. OPERAAAA! After college, she owned an online crochet business, making 'amigurumi' pieces, which are hand-crocheted stuffed animals. Pictures of adorable piglets, bears, and donkeys available upon request. Katie's husband Paul is a fine artist, focusing on realism and narrative portraiture. When she's not working, Katie can be found reading, gardening, video gaming, or hiking through one of Kentucky's many, many trails.
