About
Andrea Aal is a professional actor and narrator with over two decades of experience in television, film, regional theatre, and commercial voiceover. She brings an engaging blend of warmth, intelligence, and wit to every project, with a particular affinity for nonfiction, memoir, and transformational storytelling.
Andrea specializes in emotionally resonant reads grounded in truth and lived experience. With 14 years of sobriety and a diagnosis of ADHD, she offers a unique lens on stories of resilience, recovery, and growth. Her background as a Certified Health Coach further enhances her ability to deliver content related to wellness, psychology, and nutrition with clarity and credibility.
She holds a BA in Theatre Arts from UCLA with minors in French and Spanish, and is conversant in both—comfortable performing French and Spanish dialogue fluently for audiobooks. She is also adept with a wide range of accents, including French, Spanish, Italian, British RP, Eastern European, Russian, and most American Southern regional dialects. She loves using language and accent work to deepen character, enrich storytelling, and bring cultural authenticity to every project.
Andrea is especially drawn to emotionally complex women—like Maggie from Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Anne Boleyn, or Scarlett O’Hara—and loves portraying characters who fight, fall, rise, and evolve. While these iconic roles live in fiction, Andrea’s narration strengths shine just as brightly in nonfiction—memoir, self-help, and transformational narratives that call for warmth, wit, and wisdom.
